Close to 8 million metric tons of plastic waste ends up in the oceans every year. That's on top of the 150 million metric tons already in the oceans. Urgent action is needed. As our virtual club activity for August, we are asking that each of our members sign The World Wildlife Fund’s #StopPlasticPollution petition and join together in putting pressure on governments to commit to taking action.
